Where the Welsh Land Meets the Sea
Along the coastal path south of Aberdaron, the rugged coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula opens out towards the sea. In the foreground, banks of sea thrift bloom across the cliff edge, their soft pink flowers contrasting with the deep greens of the summer grass and the blue-grey waters beyond. At the centre of the view sits Maen Gwenonwy, a small island just offshore, while the distant headland stretches towards the horizon beneath a dramatic Welsh sky.
This image captures something I love about the North Wales coast — wild, open landscapes where land, sea and sky seem to meet without interruption.
